Real Thoughts explores the intersection of personal intimacy and collective empathy. Presented as both physical monochromatic sculptures and digital renderings of floating chrome text, the series navigates the tension between what we consider deeply private and what, in truth, connects us all.
It reflects on the universal nature of feelings we often believe to be ours alone, bringing these inner thoughts into shared spaces. The chrome texts, suspended in vast skies, evoke the abstraction and fluidity of internal emotions, while the wall-mounted pieces blend into their environment, grounding these thoughts in the tangible world. Together, they form a quiet dialogue about solitude and connection, inviting the viewer to question the boundaries between their personal experiences and a shared human condition.
Ultimately, Real Thoughts invites a reflection on vulnerability: the unspoken intimacy of thoughts and the quiet empathy that arises when we recognize ourselves in one another.
