Selfilters is a series of augmented reality face filters that aim to make users think about their smartphone usage and selfie habits. For this series, I decided to use Instagram, not to simply showcase my work, but as a full artistic medium.
Far from dog filters and flower crowns, I wanted to integrate smartphones into these different creations.

This interactive mise-en-abîme, allows me to raise paradoxes linked to the compulsive use of social networks. Filters are freely available to all users of the platform. Some of which highlight the egocentrism induced by instagram considering the platform was initially dedicated to sharing and connecting. Others aim to highlight our frenetic need to film everything, but also to monitor everything, while the latter offer a more optimistic look at the platform, showing that social networks also allow us to be ourselves.
